our process
step one
1. select your design
Our Birth Announcement Collection offers 12 thoughtfully designed announcements to show off the newest and cutest addition to your family! Select the design that speaks to you.
step two
2. ordering
After you’ve selected your design, send an email to helloinvitedesign@gmail.com with your selection and I will send a detailed customization form asking for information that will be used to create your personalized announcement. If you’re adding any adorable embellishments, simply add those to your cart individually. Most of our embellishments will also have a short customization form.

3. customization
Each announcement allows you to customize the special birth details. We offer customization options for Printing Method, Paper Type, Envelope Color, Ink Color and any embellishments you would like to add! Simply select each piece individually and add it to your cart.

4. digital proofing
A digital proof will be sent via email within 3 to 5 business days. I work closely with you to ensure your announcements are crafted to perfection. Once your digital proof is approved, we are ready for production!
step five
5. production
At this final, yet most exciting stage, your announcements are almost ready to meet you and your loved ones! I order all of your materials, get your design files print-ready, print your announcements and assemble each of your embellishments for you! I inspect the quality throughout this entire process, and carefully package everything and ship them out to you. (Mailing services and local pickup are also available.) Then we both, not-so-patiently, wait for them to arrive at your doorstep!

Printing Method
Digital Printing
Digital Printing prints flat against the paper. There are no raised or indented impressions, only the texture of the gorgeous paper finish itself.
Letterpress Printing
Letterpress Printing begins with a custom plate of your invitation design. The plate gets inked with the color of your choosing, and is then pressed into 100% cotton paper, leaving behind a beautiful, deep, inked impression.
Foil Printing
Foil Printing is similar to letterpress in that a custom metal plate is created of your unique invitation design, but rather than ink, shiny foil is pressed down into the paper, leaving behind a beautiful, metallic impression.

Our paper options were selected because they are of the most premium quality. Your loved ones will be able to feel the luxurious paper thickness before they’ve ever opened the envelope!
We offer three paper types: 120lb Cotton Paper, 240lb Cotton Paper and Handmade Paper.
120lb Cotton Paper
Our 120lb Cotton Paper is our signature paper of choice for digital printing and features clean, smooth edges with a softly textured finish.
240lb Cotton Paper
Our 240lb Cotton Paper is luxuriously thick with a soft texture finish. This paper is ideal for letterpress and foil printing as it creates a beautiful, deep, pillowy impression.
Handmade Paper
Our handmade paper has a soft texture, with natural deckled edges. Please reach out for a personalized quote if you are interested in using handmade paper or envelopes for your stationery!
Envelope liners
We offer solid envelope liners in each of our ink colors listed below to complement your birth announcement.
*Custom liners and glitter liners are also available upon request for an additional fee.

SILK Ribbon
Our silk ribbon is the perfect addition to any birth announcement. It is hand-dyed and comes tied in your choice of a beautiful knot or a gorgeous bow.

Wax Seals
Each wax seal is individually stamped with your selected design that makes a beautiful impression into the wax color of your choosing.
